Police Locate Marijuana Grow Operation; 26 Pounds Seized

A husband and wife have been arrested after police found a large scale marijuana grow operation inside their Kirkwood
Knoll home, complete with grow lamps, egg crates, plastic plant pots, 26 pounds of marijuana and a large amount of marijuana seeds.
According to police, detectives entered the house on Friday and found the two occupants had been manufacturing marijuana and had recently harvested their crop. Officers seized 26 pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
John Schnieder, 53, and his husband, Susan Richards, 51, were arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana, possession with the intent to deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for keeping a controlled substance, conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia:
According to police, the arraignment disposition for the suspects is pending.
