Donald Glick, 37, of Newark, was arrested for his connection to a mini crime spree, which involved a residential break-in and vehicle theft.

Tuesday, May 5, Glick broke into a co-worker’s home in Wilmington and stole several items inside along with the victim’s car, a gray Mercury Marquis. The victim spotted the car near Smalley’s Dam Road approximately a half hour after the reported robbery. A male suspect was reported driving the vehicle.

Then, in the early hours of Wednesday, May 6, another co-worker reported to County police that Glick came to his apartment and asked for money. When he refused, Glick became combative and forced him to give up his cash, then left in a gray Mercury Marquis.

County police found the Mercury parked in Sandberg Place and searched the surrounding area. They found man walking nearby who was later identified as Glick, but gave the officers a false name.

He also was in possession of a crack pipe when he was arrested.

Donald Glick was charged with robbery, burglary, theft of a vehicle, felony theft, criminal mischief, criminal impersonation, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Glick has been arraigned and send to the Howard Young Prison after failing to post $13,750 secured bail.
