Newark Man Arrested for Rape of 14-Year-Old

Police have arrested a Newark man and charged him with the rape of a 14-year-old girl at a house party in late January.
According to Corporal Trinidad Navarro, Richard Taylor, 21, of Gloucester Court in Newark, was in a house with the victim and other teens drinking alcohol. Later in the evening, Taylor had sex with the teen while at least two other juveniles were present.
Taylor has been arraigned and committed to the Howard Young Prison after failing to post $10,000 secured bail.
