Aquinas Academy Burglars Caught

Paul Ellifritz and Christopher Godfrey, 27 and 20 respectfully, of Bear, were arrested for the burglaries of Aquinas Academy in Bear, Delaware.

With the help of information provided by the public, officers were able to get the names of possible suspects.

On Friday, March 27, state police recovered evidence that linked Ellifritz and Godfrey to the burglaries when they investigated the residence with the aid of a search warrant.

Christopher Godfrey was arrested and charged with burglary, theft, conspiracy, and criminal mischief for the March 17, 2009 incident at Aquinas Academy. He was sent to the Howard Young Correctional Institute in lieu of $3,750 secured bond.

Paula Ellifritz was arrested and charged with the following for incidences all occurring at Aquinas Academy:

• September 15, 2008- burglary, theft
• October 23, 2008- burglary, theft, and criminal mischief
• November 2, 2008- burglary, theft, and criminal mischief
• November 13, 2008-burglary, theft, and criminal mischief
• January 24, 2009-burglary, theft, and criminal mischief
• March 17, 2009- burglary, theft, and conspiracy

He was sent to the Howard Young Correctional Institute in lieu of $17,500.00 secured bond.
